It's back and it's better! Did you miss out on the Governments 2009 Cash for Clunkers program? Want to trade-in for a more fuel efficient vehicle AND get a rebate of upto $4,500? VTCars is excited to present its very own Cash for Clunkers program now through August 31st, 2010.

How the VTCars Cash for Clunkers program works:

Depending upon how many Miles Per Gallon (MPG) you improve from trade in to the new or used eligible vehicle you purchase from Courtesy Toyota or Twin City Subaru determines your Voucher Award amount.

Vouchers can only be used on IN-STOCK VEHICLES and NO DEPOSITS WILL BE TAKEN.  This is strictly a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED program.  This program is not backed by SUBARU, TOYOTA or the United States Government.  Our CASH FOR CLUNKERS Program simply recognizes the popularity of the Government Program and seeks to open it to many more consumers than were allowed to participate last year.  Our restrictions are much less cumbersome and our Voucher is available to many consumers that would not have been eligible under the Government program.  For example, if you trade a vehicle that gets 15 MPG, you can still qualify for a voucher of up to $4500 if you purchase a Toyota Prius (2010 50 MPG combined).  That vehicle would not have been eligible for any voucher under the Government Program.

CASH FOR CLUNKERS 2010 RULES

  1. Vehicles eligible for CFC Voucher must be model year 2000 or newer.
  2. Vehicles must drive in by their own power.
  3. Vehicle must be continuously registered the last 12 months.
  4. Vehicle must be continuously insured for the last 12 months.
  5. Registered owner must be on all paperwork for new vehicle to receive voucher.
  6. All mileage determined by average MPG as found on www.fueleconomy.gov website.
  7. Dealer reserves the right to terminate program at any time.
  8. Clear title must be presented at time of purchase.  Rebuilt, Salvage, or otherwise "Branded" titled vehicles are ineligible.
  9. Only one trade voucher per transaction is permitted.
  10. Licensed dealers cannot participate in this program.
